Hey all, New to BimmerBoost, but not to the BMWs.
Car, 2008 535XI with 100K, started throwing lean then rich codes and would run really bad when cold.
I'd clear the codes and she would run great.
I ended up replacing Banks 1 and 2 sensor 1 O2 sensors, and that helped a ton.
One day headed to work, she starts running horribly. Misfiring on 4, 5, and 6 and dumping fuel. Went 5 miles and used 2.5 gallons of fuel. Its dripping out of the exhaust.
I think HPFP, so i take it to a BMW dealership here. I'm stationed in Germany so i think it should be super easy.
Turns out all 6 fuel injectors went bad, supposedly, so they replace them, the coil pack and the park plugs.
Popped a P2297 O2 sensor out of range on deceleration last week. Figured it was because fuel was dumped through the exhaust, took it on the autobahn to get the RPMs up, maybe clean the sensor and have some fun.
2 days latter code cleared itself.
Popped up again this morning.
Has anyone dealt with something like this? I tried searching but didn’t have any luck.
Also has P112C which no one can give me a good answer on what that one is.
